Giving to BHMS

Thank you for choosing Brooklyn Heights Montessori for your family! I have the privilege of working as BHMS’ Director of Development, supporting families in their journey of giving back, whether it be with a philanthropic gift or their time.

The most common way families choose to support BHMS is with our Brooklyn Heights Montessori Fund, our annual fund designed to enhance the student experience. This fund touches every aspect of the BHMS educational experience, including:

• The BHMS tuition assistance program

• Field trips, special classroom guests and speakers, and adventures throughout the city and beyond

• The flexibility to adapt and evolve to meet the needs of our community

Classroom Supports

• Montessori classroom materials

• Our home on the corner of Bergen and Court

Faculty and Staff Supports

• Faculty and Staff salaries and benefits

• Professional development for all Faculty and Staff

Families commonly make a gift between $20 and $20,000. The beauty of the BHMF is the tremendous impact had by gifts of all sizes when pooled together.
